Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews

Headlining the V Festival and following the awesome performance by the Queens Of the Stone Age already had the crowd pumped up.
The push and the shove had started down the front with 20 minutes to go before the Pumpkins were due to come on.
Opened up with the Siamese classic Today.
The same as they did in 1994 at Selinas in Sydney.
A different atmosphere from the Hordern show from the other night.
The crowd was more hyper and were looking and ready for a good mosh.

Setlist was different from the Hordern show which was good.

Billy was wearing a tshirt that had 999.
i guess no more 666 shirts from the 90s.
Is that a symbolic message that says he has changed his life around from the 90s?????

They played Hummer tonight after Tarantula which was one of the highlights of the night for me.

Thats the Way(My Love Is)was beautiful under the open air night sky.
The crowd went ballistic during Bullet With Butterfly Wings.
Sweat pouring down as the moshpit was steaming.

I was thinking maybe they will close it with Muzzle as they did for the NZ shows.
But surprisingly they did a cover of a song by The Church and closed it with Cherub Rock.

All in all a great night

Hopefully it wont be another 10 years before the Pumpkins return to the shores of Sydney
