Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews

Ah, January 23, 2003 was one of the most kickass days ever! The show was amazing, and the crowd stayed pumped even though the two openings were a bit different… The first opener (which the name has slipped my mind) reminded me of a 80s rock band. It had this one quite large gut with real long hair, and they all looked like they were stuck in the 80s, yet music wise they were not too bad. The second opening band, King Kong, was… different. They can be summed up as a Techno rock band? I guess…? They had some weird lyrics, and did some routine moves to go along with their music. However, when Zwan came on about 7:30 after an hour and a half of openers we were all glad to see Zwan come on. Zwan’s performance went by so fast; I wish it could have lasted all night. Nevertheless, eventually it did end at about eleven. There were two encores, with some small chitchat in between songs. Overall, it was a great show! And if any of you beg to differ that January 23 was not the best Metro show, I have Billy on tape on JBTV, claiming with Jimmy that Thursdays show was the best: D
