February 19, 2003 - Alcatraz - Milan, Italy Concert review by Adil (drown at tiscali dot it) Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews First off, the setlist: Ride a Black Swan Endless Summer El sol For Your Love Jesus,I+God's Gonna Set This World Declarations of Faith Riverview Honestly Lyric Of A Broken Heart Friends as Lovers Mary Star of The Sea Settle Down I'm Eighteen (Alice Cooper cover) Desire Spilled Milk I must admit i didn't expect they could rock so hard. I mean, the album doesn't rock that hard. But when it comes to rock mr. corgan, smiling and jokin' aside, is still the man he used to be. When he walked over the stage crowd went crazy (i was in front of Paz) and start screaming sooo loud. The first track - black swan - rocked the audience to the bones. It was a good show, without moshpit or other stupid things. I was positively shocked when at the end of the show bill took cymbals and started to dance like a native american praying for the rain to come... it was so weird :-) His voice was quite good except a few times. I heard they'll play @ the heineken jammin festival this summer (15th of june) and i can't wait to see them again. Rate 8/10 |
