October 23, 2007 - Tower Theater - Upper Darby, PA, US Concert review by Trevor Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews Absolutely amazing. This was my first time out seeing the Pumpkins and I as admittedly a bit skeptical, especially of their new lineup. Well, let me tell you, they delivered in spades! Excellent level of musicianship, and the setlist was brilliant. The acoustic set/ electric set dynamic was very cool, and the first few songs were very intimate with only Billy performing. Awesome selection of hits and b-sides, with special treats like Drown and an acoustic Hummer. Among the best shows I've ever seen, and the lighting was by far the most impressive/technical that I've ever experienced. The only dissapointment was that they didn't play Today! If you have any oppurtunity to see this tour, then go for it. You won't regret it. |
