January 24, 2003 - The Metro - Chicago, IL, US Concert review by Deep Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews Incredible show. I went to go stand in line at 2:30 pm, and to my surprise, there were about 100 people ahead of me. I met awesome people in line, and upon getting inside, was amaaaaaaaazed by Zwan. After having only heard their album, I was questioning how they'd be. Seeing them in concert was wonderful. My favorite part was definitely when they played "Spilled Milk" at the end, which should've made the album. Everyone in the crowd was enjoying themselves. My 5'2" friend was even enjoying herself behind this dude who was about 8 feet tall, who had front row *raises her fist at him* Anyway, GREAT show. I was lucky enough to be able to go to the THURSDAY show as well. I'm still amazed at how well this band, that's only been together for over a year, had their stuff together. IT's only expected, perhaps, from a band made up of musicians who excel at their instrument. Overall, I'm a happy Chicagoan and I will try and catch every show I can get into. |
