Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews

This was my first ever pumpkins show, although ive been a fan since the third grade. The show was fucking heavy, with some quiet little songs. Corgan opened with a song i didnt recognize into United states. they played most all of their new songs except for the second song and Starz.

The venue was small and beautiful with high ceilings, and billy remarked at one point that the place was beautiful, although sometimes it felt like a being trapped in a tomb. They played a fast and heavy version of Ava Adore which was cool. Billy did three acoustic songs by himself; 1979 into Perfect into For God and Country. The second half of the show was equally as good but left the crowd wondering when he did a 30 minute rendition of Heavy Metal Machine, which sounded nothing like the one on Machina, maybe it was an alternate version from Machina II? i never bothered with that one so i wouldnt know.

Billy kept taunting the crowd saying he was the heavy metal machine. that was the last song of the set. then they came back out and played cherub rock. Billy seemed fucked up or just happy or something. the rest of the band left the stage and he literally stood there throwing guitar pics at the audience for like a minute, then swaggered off stage. all in all it was awesome, drumming especially and i was surprised how talented billy's soloing was.

Oh yeah, it apparently wasnt sold out because our seats got upgraded right when we got in, there were like 200 seats empty up top.
