January 24, 2003 - The Metro - Chicago, IL, US Concert review by Stone (stonio at aol dot com) Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews awesome show. i hitchhiked to chicago for the weekend WITHOUT a ticket having so much faith that i would get into the show. after wandering up and down the street desperatingly searching for a scalper. I was just about to give up until a guy told me to come over to him. he sold me a ticket for 100 bucks. i was kicking myself in the ass later when i heard another guy offering two for 110 but i was at least happy to get in the HUGE line of people all waiting to get in. As for the show, i couldn't have asked for anything better. it was great seeing billy share the late holiday spirit giving gifts out to the fellow band members. My favorite song was definately mary star of the sea which they opened with. after the show, i was still psyched but when the reality kicked in that i had no money to get home to NJ i was back to earth. still, the show was worth every penny. |
