Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews

Lets set the the stage, I am standing with a friend outside for two hours nearly freezing to death. Would it be worth it? Yes it would. It started out with Childrens Hour opening for Zwan, a very interesting, but enjoyable band. I definitely liked the harp that was used by the vocalist for a couple songs. Then she switched to a Fender electric, then to a Ukalali...now that was great. Despite how strange that sounds, they were very entertaining. Them came Zwan. Billy is still larger than life up on stage. I have never seen Billy Corgan, nor any other member of Zwan in their other projects, have so much fun on stage. The chemistry is remarkable. Paz and Billy would dance and sing to eachother at times. He would then switch off and solo face to face with Sweeney or laugh at Jimmy for undoubtedly making some funny face at him. The only person Billy didnt interact with very much was Pajo...but he was by no means left out. Paz seemed to have a blast with him. I cant stress enough how the simple fact that the band members were having fun, put a profoundly positive mood on the show. I had a smile ear to ear the whole time, and looking around me, I saw the same with everyone else. Just once I thought the show had ended, they came back out for a nice encore...to only then come back once more. I recommend that like them or not, everyone should see Zwan. This is a great band, that is even better live. I can't wait for the album.
