April 14, 2002 - Double Door - Chicago, IL, US Concert review by pete palermo (www dot pinwheel12000 at yahoo dot com) Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews i have been a pumpkin fan for as long a I can remember and I never got to go to a pumpkin show. My girlfriend got me tickets and we went to the tweeder center. we sat through a bunch of acts but I was really just waiting for zwan.P.S.never go to see the strokes they litterally put us asleep. when the last band before zwan left everyone went to the bathroom or whatever but i sat there in my seat the entire time and watched them set up. being a dummer and having jimmy as my ultimate drumming inspiration I was very excited when they brought out jimmy's drums. they came out and started playing lyric. Those drums just played through my blood and every time I heard a solo a complete chill would come over me. the whole show I stared with awed look on my face. It was sooo powerful i had to hold back tears. needless to say it was the best show ive been to. All i have to say is that even if your one of those people that cant stand corgans voice, if you can enjoy an honestly good performance and exteemly talented musicians you will love zwan period |
