December 18, 2002 - Opera House - Toronto, ON, Canada Concert review by Robyn Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews the set list was really good, incorporating some older, well known songs like jesus i and broken heart, in with songs off the forthcoming mary star of the sea. definitly the highlights were paz coming on to do violin for broken heart (if only i died...whatever you want to call it) and settle down. the energy in the venue was incredible, with the band and the fans feeding off each other. the band had a lot of enthousiasm, and even though the crowd got really into the music, it was obvious the band was playing for themselves. paz and david pajo kept mostly to themselves, and facing jimmy. billy's innate passion for the music was a refreshing change from when we torontonians last saw him perform for us. all in all, the show was incredible, and i cant wait to see them again |
