December 16, 2002 - Cobo Arena - Detroit, MI, US Concert review by Colleen Maynard Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews This was my premiere gala seeing Zwan, let alone Billy, so I am well aware my viewpoint of the concert is overtly glamourized, nonetheless I was overall very impressed. The environment was unfortunately more chaotic and violent in a non-Zwan-loving way, so the outcome felt a bit different than I hoped, and the members of the band seemed a little more unnatural. There were about five-seven songs, including "Honestly" and "Mary Star of the Sea." Paz of course played her violin for one set, and Matt and Billy jammed together pretty intensely on a couple sets in particular(or at least attempted to; the atmosphere really felt off like I said). As still a budding fan of Zwan, I was not as up-to-date on the songs as I could have been, and for the life of me couldn't say what titles otherwise they played. |
