December 15, 2002 - Newport Music Hall - Columbus, OH, US Concert review by Amanda Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews WOW...what an amazing show. By the time my friend and i got to the Newport there was a huge line waiting outside the doors so we decided to stop next door and grab dinner since it was freezing outside. when we finally got inside the newport i could barely stand still i was so excited to see zwan play. i bought myself the lovely zwan rainbow tote bag, i had wanted to get a tshirt but they were sold out already and only a few bags were left. i ended up leaving my friend to weasel my way down front. the crowd was wonderful...it was nice to be surrounded by people who love the music and the band as much as i do. zwan was...simply amazing....they played for over an hour...two encores...and they played for us a song that they had never played live before..it sounds silly but it made me feel special. billy seemed to be in a really good mood, he joked around and introduced the band saying that he needed a break because his throat hurt, and at the end he reached down and touched a few fans hands. billy, jimmy, paz, dave, and matt were all wonderful... i wish i could describe them and the feelings they produced in me and in the people around me more acurately but i cant. zwan is something that needs to be experienced in person...u wont regret it.
