June 3, 2003 - Paradiso - Amsterdam, Netherlands Concert review by Peter Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews WOW!! Amazing concert, best gig I\'ve been to since Pumpkins at Vredenburg, Utrecht in 1999. Paradiso is a great small venue, and the atmosphere and sound were superb. Starting with a 15min Jesus, I (without the Mary Star part, which came later, also lasting over 10 min). At times, Zwan really rocked surprisingly hard, and I thought a lot of the songs were even better than on the CD. Not much moshing going on in the pit, most was at Lyric, my favourite song. The whole band and particularly Billy seamed in a good mood, lots of laughing going on. They hardly said anything to the crowd during the show, but my friend caught Billy\'s towel, and Billy shook lots of hands after the show. We were really buzzing after the show, can\'t wait for the next Zwan. BILLY CORGAN IS STILL THE BEST!! |
