So this was my second ZWAN experience and it was just as amzing as the first. I saw them about a month ago at the Tabernacle show in Atlanta and was very excited when I heard they were coming back. I bought the Music Midtown ticket, which is a three day music festival, just for ZWAN and the entire weekend was just an opening act for ZWAN! The played flawlessly once again....they have an amazing ability to gel onstage and become this fluid unit of musician's playing their hearts out. The show was an hour and half long with unfortunately no encore (festival policy)...they played the perfect mix of singles and all out rawkin jams...also we were pleasantly surprised when Billy Sr. came out to play the final song...Stevie Ray Vaughn's "The Sky is Crying"...it was in some ways the perfect end to a perfect set...the version of Mary was an amazing solo filled jam with other songs such as Settle Down and God's gonna set this world on fire to accent and punctuate the bands incredible ability to change moods and style with ease...it was definitely a memorable show and yet another testimonial to the Might of Zwan!
