May 3, 2003 - Bogart's - Cincinnati, OH, US Concert review by JOE RAFIDI(youngstown, ohio) Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews Well, once again the show ZWAN was breath taking and phenomenal. it was my 4th show so far and they seem to get better and billy still can still master the loud/soft dynamics that make SP legendary. my buddy and i were lucky enough to greet billy, matt, paz and dave before the show in front of a vintage guitar shop on the thugged out streets of cinci. they were shopping before the show and billy spent about an hour in the store before heading back in the venue. jimmy was evidently napping prior to his bonecrushing performance. as for the show itself, the venue wasn't great, but we had a good view from the balcony like 30 yards away...the sound was still a juggernaut, and sounded like thunder...here's the setlist,i dont recall the exact order, so i wont even try: love lies in ruin for your love i'm eight-teen(alice cooper) a new poetry riverview lyric settle down declarations honestly el sol broken heart heartsong endless summer baby, lets rock desire jesus, I/gods gonna set this world on fire mary star spilled milk...i hope i got everything it kicked ass, and everyone should do what they can do see this fucking band (sell your soul). and yes they will make you cry. |
