I just got home from the show, and I am absolutely speechless. Well, not completely, but you know. Zwan was awesome. It was my first time seeing them. I was lucky enough to get to see the Pumpkins on Jan. 22, 2000, in London, England. That was the best day of my life..... until now. I still can't believe what just happened. I got to meet Billy! In fact, I got to meet all of them - Jimmy, Paz, Matt, and Dave. They were all awesome. My friend, Craig, owns a local record store in Louisville, KY, Underground Sounds (www.underground-sounds.net), and he hooked me up with free tickets and backstage passes. I totally owe him now. Damn! Billy Corgan has been one of my favourite people since I was 11. I never thought I would get to meet him... honestly (no pun intended). I can die now. He was so down-to-earth and nice as fuck. What a great person. He extremely exceeded my expectations (which I tried not to have). We chatted about this and that, and he complimented me on my low voice, saying it was "sexy". Hell yeah. I can definitely die now. I feel like the luckiest person alive. Jimmy was cool as fuck too. He is a very attractive person. He looks so much better in person than he does in photos and whatnot. He must be one of those naturally un-photogenic people, like most of us. Sorry, Jimmy. It's really a compliment, because you're 38, and you don't look anywhere near that old. You rock! Billy is beautiful. Simply breath-taking. Once again, much better in person. I love his teeth so much. That was something I always loved about him, and it was unreal being able to see the famous "Billy-teeth" about a foot away. Wow. I'm still in shock. I know I'm not really reviewing the concert. I'm sorry. You don't have to post this if you don't want to. I understand. |
