April 26, 2003 - Paramount Ballroom - Seattle, WA, US Concert review by sarah Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews it was amazing. i somehow found myself in the very front after lots of being shoved and whatnot. i did get elbowed far too much by a few mean listeners who obviously have never been to a rock concert with general admission and were unaware of the surge towards the stage. if you're in the very front you are GOING to be a bit crowded. ANYWAYS they did great, the only thing i didnt like is how long it took for them to get onstage after the first band played. i guess i'm far more used to local bands in small venues and the band catering to the crowd, not visa-versa. they looked like they were having a great time playing and paz was especially rockin'. it was great to see them at the paramount with general admissions because it felt more like a club than a big venue. which i think is the best way for them to play, or anyone for that matter. they kicked ass. and NOBODY DANCED except for my friend and i! everybody just stood and stared, pushed a bit to get farther up, then stared even more. but i danced my heart out and saw one of the best rock shows i've seen in ages. |
