December 10, 2002 - The Orpheum Theater - Boston, MA, US Concert review by skYe (skye at redligtmusic dot com) Siva - Zwan : Concert Reviews i was really excited to see zwan for the 1st time my evening got off to a slow start when i got stuck waiting around for my friend who never showed up i was getting really tense and i just decided to go to the show by myself by the time i got to the orpheum . zwan had already gone on :( i missed the first couple songs and ofcourse .. missed the opener anyway i took my seat and soaked it up! i was so excited to be there .. checking out the band and feeling the great sounds i looked around me and checked out the crowd everyone just seemed to just be standing there which is typical for boston (i just moved to sf and going back to boston to visit definitely made me not want to be in boston anymore) the crowd was pretty unemotional still and quiet how bumming regardless .. it was just me and zwan and i couldnt care less about anything else zwan pretty much played the entire album minus a few tracks including ride a black swan . which i would have loved to hear its cool though billy and co. sound so fckn awesome!! so positive kicking deep powerful vibrant everlasting electric epic & forever im so happy for billys new super positive vibe and incredible new sound thank you so much !!! zwan makes this fckd up world of ours a much better place! im looking forward to seeing them again this tuesday in san francisco it will be a great experience! thanks billy + jimmy + matt + paz + david you rock !! x |
